  1. BOMB A V-2 MISSILE SITE
  2.  
  3. During the first week of May, 1944, the
  4. Allies concentrated on the pre-invasion 
  5. disruption of railway centers in occupied 
  6. Europe.  The Eighth Air Force was diverted 
  7. from attacking rail targets in France and 
  8. Belgium due to bad weather.  Instead, they 
  9. bombed Pas de Calais NOBALL targets.

  11. For a more concentrated bombing pattern 
  12. on the targets, smaller formations of 
  13. B-17s were used.  Squadrons bombed on 
  14. signal from their leader.

  16.                     YOUR MISSION

  18. Flying in a small formation of B-17s, you
  19. are to bomb a V-2 missile site.  You'll 
  20. have a pair of escorts to protect you, 
  21. but you may have to man your guns before 
  22. you get to the target.  When you reach the 
  23. target, watch your leader and drop your 
  24. bombload when he does.
